Nicaragua. The land in between. So sweet despite herself, and despite a history rife with all possible clashes between wealth and poverty, dictatorship and democracy, inhuman predicaments and collectivist thrusts. A land mirrored in its ability to be reborn in the same way as she is reflected in the great lake that nature has placed at her centre, and able to synthesise her first fruits such as hope and joie-de-vivre. Immediately opulent to the nose, hints of glazed duck, soufflé and even moments of just-popped popcorn. Later, a little tried by this spirit’s character which has compressed them so much before the encounter with glass, balsamic tones of fruit emerge already completely evolved and able to awaken from their initial torpor. In the mouth a babel of sensations and tones with the most pleasant alcohol rhythm, flashes of the balsamic and chlorophyll at a more mature stage of development. Then white chocolate, lacquer and ground coffee.
