Just for fun: let's think about the time of absolute monarchies, especially that of Maria Theresa of Austria, the Mother-in-Law of Europe. A climactic time, the parenthesis which hosted events and stories of all kinds… though certainly one full hope for a future which might have been better.

It is a reflection on a time like this which encourages us to be better, to seek what there is above good or evil, above black and white. Passions are a nightmare, let us escape them! Let us find refuge in a search for balance as at the time of Enlightenment, as in the century of Maria Theresa. Let's make a healthy obsession out of this search.
